Job summary

Orion Placement in Memphis is seeking an experienced plaintiff-side personal injury attorney to take ownership of cases from intake through settlement, mediation, and trial. You will directly impact injured clients and work with a supportive legal team.

The role offers earning potential of $100,000 to $200,000+ in on-target earnings through productivity-based compensation. Memphis is primarily in-office, while Nashville offers in-office or remote options.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active Tennessee Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably plaintiff-side.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, research, and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
• Manage cases from intake through settlement, mediation, litigation, and trial.
• Develop case strategies through legal research, evidence analysis, and witness interviews.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, insurers, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
• Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as appropriate.
• Independently manage a substantial caseload with deadlines.
• Collaborate with support staff to keep cases moving efficiently and provide excellent client experience.
• Contribute to firm growth by bringing new PI matters into the practice.

• 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, legal research, and case-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage personal injury matters and advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong client-service mindset and sound legal judgment.
• Settlement, deposition, mediation, and trial experience strongly preferred.
• In-house and solo practice backgrounds are welcome.
