Job summary

Ideal Talent Group in Austin is seeking a PI litigation attorney to join a top-tier personal injury firm. The role offers meaningful courtroom involvement, professional autonomy, and the chance to advocate for clients in high-value cases across Texas.

Responsibilities include handling cases from inception to resolution and appeal, drafting and arguing motions, defending depositions, and coordinating with clients and experts. An active Texas license and 1–4 years of PI experience are required.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Texas law license in good standing.
1–4 years of plaintiff PI litigation experience.
Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and courtroom presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.

Responsibilities

Handle litigation matters from case inception through resolution and appeal.
Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery-related documents.
Conduct and defend depositions involving parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses.
Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and courtroom testimony.
Analyze medical records, discovery materials, and expert reports.
Research and present complex legal arguments effectively and persuasively.
Make regular court appearances and advocate aggressively on behalf of clients.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
