Job summary

The Joel Bieber Firm (JBF) seeks an Associate Attorney to manage personal injury matters from intake to resolution, under guidance from senior and managing attorneys. You will build core litigation, negotiation, and case-management skills on low-to-moderate complexity claims.

Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited school and an active state bar, with at least one year of PI experience. Training on our case management system will be provided, and a strong team will support your growth.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
• At least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, court procedures, and negotiations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and teams.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement or trial.
• Conduct client interviews at intake and gather facts, records, and documentation.
• Review medical records, billing, police reports, and evidence to assess liability and damages.
• Keep cases progressing within stage-based timeframes and deadlines.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and review their work for accuracy.
• Conduct legal research and provide input to senior attorneys.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials under guidance.
• Maintain proactive client communication and manage expectations.
