Confidential Employer in Forest Hills, Queens, NY seeks an attorney to manage all phases of personal injury litigation for plaintiff-side clients. Based in Forest Hills with a hybrid option of one remote day per week for the right candidate, this role emphasizes courtroom experience in the NYC metro area.

Candidates must hold an active New York State Bar license and have 2+ years of plaintiff-side PI litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of litigation experience with a plaintiff-side personal injury focus.
• Experience in construction accident, motor vehicle, or premises liability matters preferred.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of personal injury litigation from intake and investigation through discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, demand letters, responses to discovery, and other litigation documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Perform thorough legal research using LexisNexis and other platforms to develop and support case strategy.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel while advocating for clients' maximum recovery.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure cases move toward resolution or trial.
• Maintain direct client communication with empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness.

Location:
