Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an attorney to join our plaintiffs-focused personal injury team in Sacramento. You will represent clients in motor vehicle and premises liability matters, manage cases from intake to resolution, and draft litigation documents while developing strategies and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Experience managing personal injury litigation matters.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Litigation experience including depositions and court appearances preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims.
• Manage cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful case outcomes.
• Stay current on California personal injury laws and litigation practices.
