Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. The candidate must be able to work in our Washington, DC office. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle accident cases, including trial preparation and trial. Maryland, Virginia, or DC Bar membership is required.

Responsibilities

1. Handle motor vehicle accident cases in litigation on a day-to-day basis.
2. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
3. Guide clients through the case process.
4. Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting reports, and affidavits.
5. Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Qualifications

1. Law degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with at least one State Bar in the surrounding DC Metro area.
3. Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
4. Excellent client service and communication skills.
5. Self-motivated with long-term career goals.
6. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
