Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a seasoned Personal Injury Attorney to join its Virginia Beach practice. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse case portfolio and litigate in Circuit, General District, and Federal Courts across Virginia.

You will evaluate cases, engage clients, oversee pre-litigation valuation, negotiate settlements, and mentor peers in a fast-growing team. JD required; VA Bar active; strong trial track record preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license to practice law.
• Experience in personal injury law including trial successes and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential new cases and client intakes.
• Engage with current and prospective clients.
• Oversee pre-litigation process including valuation and maximizing claim value.
• Conduct settlement negotiations and manage recovery disbursements.
• Advocate in Virginia courts and lead depositions, hearings, mediations and settlement conferences.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a diverse case portfolio and successfully litigating cases in Circuit, General District, and Federal Courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Duties

• Evaluate potential new cases and client intakes.
• Engage proactively with current and prospective clients.
• Oversee the pre-litigation process, including valuation and maximizing claim value.
• Conduct settlement negotiations and manage recovery disbursements.
• Advocate in all jurisdictions across the Commonwealth.
• Lead depositions, focus groups, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Maintain exemplary client relationships and mentor junior attorneys and peers.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Virginia.
• Demonstrated experience in personal injury law, including trial successes and claim negotiations.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Virginia State Bar membership.
