Duties

1. Handle all phases of personal injury cases from initial client intake through trial and post-judgment proceedings
2. Conduct legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
3. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda with precision
4. Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and in court proceedings
5. Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy development and case management
6. Mentor and guide junior attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff as needed
7. Engage in settlement negotiations and client communications to ensure a high level of service
8. Maintain compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements across jurisdictions

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar
