Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan law license in good standing.
• 2+ years of personal injury experience preferred.
• Personal injury law firm or related litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases and competing deadlines effectively.
• A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to client service.
• Desire to continue developing as a litigator and grow with the firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases effectively.
• Maintain strong, responsive communication with clients throughout their case.
• Manage deadlines and caseload while maintaining a high standard of legal representation.
