Job summary

Taylor Rental in Manchester, CT is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to handle linen processing, washing, drying, ironing, packaging, and quality control. You will follow detailed company policies, restock supplies, complete daily logs, and communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

This on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work in a fast-paced warehouse, and maintain attention to detail.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and iron linens as specified by manufacturer and company policy.
• Wrap and package linens per company policy.
• Uphold the quality control standards of the company.
• Restock cleaned and packaged linens appropriately.
• Inspect returned linens.
• Sort dirty linens per company policy.
• Complete a daily check-in log.
• Notify supervisor of broken or faulty equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Working Conditions

• Daily use of washer, dryers, and flatwork ironers, which release hot air, exposure to above average temperatures is prevalent
• Most work will be performed in a warehouse setting with limited exposure to outside elements, some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned.
• May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning chemicals
• Repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
• Must be able to lift 30lbs

Education / Skills / Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Attention to detail
• Rental industry experience is a plus
