Job summary

ZMC Hotels in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Linen Room Attendant to wash, dry, inspect, and fold towels, sheets, and linens. You will be the backbone of the housekeeping department and ensure clean linen stock for all hotel areas.

If you enjoy washing, drying, and folding laundry and can work quickly, with a cooperative attitude, this position offers steady hours, a friendly team, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Sorts all linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers; adds specified cleaning agents.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.
• Maintains the inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
