Job summary

Visiting Angels Upland is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship. You will remind clients about medications and assist with daily activities, while providing reliable transportation to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Transport clients to appointments or social outings (as needed)

What You Need

• Must be 18+ years old
• Valid California Driver's License (Out-of-state licenses not accepted)
• Reliable vehicle + current auto insurance (must be listed as insured driver)
• Able to pass background checks, drug screening, and DMV check
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) - we'll help you register if needed
• Negative TB test (we'll cover the cost if you need one)
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties
• Flexible availability
• Two professional references
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, and reliability
