Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a dedicated Homemaker/Companion in Crivitz, Wisconsin. In this role, you will enhance individuals' quality of life by providing personal support and household assistance, fostering independence within their homes.

Responsibilities include offering companionship, performing errands, and homemaking services. The position requires a valid driver's license and 40 hours of training or equivalent experience. As a Homemaker/Companion, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by providing support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks. Your care and dedication will help them maintain their independence and stay comfortably in their own homes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through reading, talking, listening, and related activities
• Perform errands, transport clients, when necessary, within State guidelines
• Report unusual incidents or changes in client's behavior or home situation to Agency Director
• Perform homemaking services such as cleaning, light meal preparation, laundry, and other light cleaning duties

Required Qualifications

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Must have 40 hours training or 6 months of equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of experience in home care
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified clients' needs

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
