Role Overview

As a Personal Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will bring warmth, comfort, and personalized support directly into clients' homes. In this role, you’ll work closely with families and healthcare partners to cultivate a safe, uplifting, and caring environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Offer meaningful companionship, comfort, and personal care (bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene).
• Prepare nourishing meals, assist with light housekeeping, and encourage gentle daily movement.
• Transport clients to local appointments, errands, or social outings.

What You’ll Need

• Prior caregiving experience.
• Heartfelt empathy, strong communication skills, and a true passion for helping others.
• Reliability, flexible availability (including weekends), and the ability to work well independently or with a team.

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred, Not Required)

• Active HHA, CNA, or MA license/certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, plus a valid driver’s license.
• Experience supporting individuals with memory care needs (dementia, Alzheimer's), stroke recovery, or Parkinson's disease.

Employment Type & Location

• Location: In-person within clients' private homes.
