The newly completed Reservoir Wing heralds a new era in aged care, with intimate dining rooms, light-filled lounges, spacious bedroom suites, and seamless connections to the outdoors.

About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers on a permanent part-time basis. Our fixed fortnightly roster includes a commitment to at least one day per weekend with shifts available in either AM or PM patterns.

Key Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker in our facility, you will:

  • Deliver personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Support residents with daily living tasks such as meal assistance and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, promptly reporting any concerns.
  • Encourage social engagement and assist with recreational and group activities.
  • Provide care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management, to enhance their well-being.
  • Support nursing staff with assessments, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the environment, promptly addressing any issues.

Sunday to Tuesday

Wednesday to Saturday

Sunday to Wednesday

PM Shifts:

Wednesday to Saturday

Night Duty (ND) Shifts:

Sunday to Wednesday

Sunday to Tuesday

Note: Shifts are subject to change.

What We’re Looking For

A caring and empathetic nature, along with a commitment to supporting residents to live with dignity and comfort, is essential. Building strong relationships with residents and their families while contributing to a high-quality, person-centred care environment is key.

Successful candidates will have:

  • The ability to work a part-time roster, including at least one weekend day.
  • Excellent organisational skills to maintain safe, clean, and supportive environments.
  • A strong understanding of the person-centred approach in residential care.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and build meaningful connections with residents.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, or current Nursing studies.
  • First Aid & CPR: Current or willingness to obtain
  • Working with Children Check: Victorian Employee check
  • Police & NDIS Checks: Current or willing to obtain
  • Work Rights: Australian rights to work
