Personal Care LPN New Competitive Pay Rates

Position Details

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Evening LPN (38.75 hours/week, 2:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.) for the Personal Care unit at The Village at Kelly Drive, York, PA.

Qualifications

Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania.

Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; decision-making and evaluation skills; knowledge of Department of Public Welfare regulations; current CPR certification.

Experience: Preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with medication administration and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate narcotic records, report discrepancies, and follow proper disposal procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as lab slips, scheduling, and maintenance requests.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per physician’s orders and policies.
  • Monitor lab work for compliance, consult with physicians on abnormal results, and implement recommended actions.
