Metropolitan Home Health Services, Inc. is seeking reliable caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care for elders across Arlington and nearby towns in Massachusetts.

Roles include Home Health Aides, Homemakers, Personal Care Attendants, and Companions with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and competitive hourly wages between $22.00 and $27.50. We are a family-owned agency with over 36 years of experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Highschool graduate or GED.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.

Metropolitan Home Health Services, Inc. has a variety of home health care positions right now in Arlington, Lexington, Burlington, Woburn, Chelsea, Revere, Winthrop, Medford, Malden, Everett, Somerville, Cambridge, Belmont, Waltham, and Watertown, including Home Health Aides, Homemakers, Personal Care Attendants, and Companions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 – $27.50 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Willing to help keep elders safe at home
• Assist elders with personal care duties such as bathing, shaving, skin care, hair care, mouth care, dressing and undressing, bed changing, toileting, etc.
• Assist elders with household services such as planning, preparing and serving meals, purchasing food and household supplies, dusting and vacuuming, light cleaning, light laundering etc.
• Provide companionship
• Communicate with the agency regarding scheduling and/or client problems or concerns
• Respect and maintains consumer confidentiality
• Perform only those duties listed on the care plan except when instructed otherwise by clinical supervision

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• Highschool graduate or GED
• Able to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Home Health Aide Certificate
• CNA Certificate
• Having transportation, ie a car
• 1 year prior work experience
• Bilingual
