Job Overview

The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) II performs and assists with personal care ADLs/IADLs for participants in the PACE program across all delivery platforms, including center, home, or virtual. The PCA II supports the PCA I and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, report on participants’ abilities, and foster independence and socialization. Communication and collaboration with team members are essential to meet the goals of the care plan.

Minimum Requirements

• Certified Nursing Aide education and training, Nurse Assistant Certificate by the State of California.
• High school diploma required; some college credits preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate preferred, must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Experience working with physically or mentally impaired older adults is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese) preferred depending on location.
• Experience with elderly patient population.
• Valid BLS certification following AHA or Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
