Golden Care is hiring top caregivers to join our growing team. We offer flexible hours based on your availability and competitive pay starting at $19/hr, determined by experience, distance traveled to shifts, and qualifications. Paid training and valuable benefits are available.

As a caregiver, you provide non-medical support with compassion and professionalism. Duties include companionship, ADL assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and safety monitoring.

Qualifikationen

• MUST have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver.
• MUST be, or willing to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• MUST be able to clear a criminal background check by the DOJ/FBI.
• MUST have a current Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test (or willingness to complete one).
• MUST obtain a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• MUST be 18 years of age or older.
• MUST be able to provide 2 forms of ID such as a Driver's license, social security, Passport, and or Birth certificate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high-quality, non-medical care and support services to clients, delivering care with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and in a respectful manner. Some caregiver duties include, but not limited to:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Providing clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors (i.e., wandering, paranoia) a safe and secure environment by monitoring their health and safety, as it is a priority.
• Assist clients with all their ADL’s (Activates of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans (i.e., personal hygiene assistance—oral care, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean-living environment.
• Meal preparation and assist with feeding if needed.
• Transferring & Ambulation—provide safety, stability and support while client is mobile and during transfers.
• Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.)

• MUST have a passion and the desire to help others improve their quality of life, while maintaining clients' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• MUST be comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and care documentation.
