Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Simi Valley, CA seeks compassionate Caregivers to deliver one-on-one in-home care. You’ll help clients stay safe and independent at home, with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, and communicating changes to the office and family. Training and support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior caregiving is strongly preferred.
• CNA/HHA/CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus, not required.
• Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred; Live Scan may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, you may assist clients with:

• Companionship and social engagement

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Walking, mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention support

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Medication reminders

• Transportation, errands, and appointments when needed

• Communicating changes or concerns to the office and family

• Following the client's individual care plan

Qualifications

• Must be able to reliably commute to Simi Valley

• Previous professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred

• Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred

• If not currently registered, must be eligible and willing to complete HCA registration and Live Scan requirements

• Current TB clearance, or ability to obtain

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance when required

• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility

• Strong communication skills

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Experience with senior care, dementia or memory care, personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, or in‑home caregiving is especially valuable.

• CNA, HHA, CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus, but not required.
