Job summary

Caremate Wellness Solutions, LLC in Mansfield, TX is seeking compassionate home health aides to provide non-medical personal care and assist with ADLs under an approved plan of care. You will perform safety and wellness checks, support families with transfers and positioning, and participate in agency training to maintain high standards.

This role offers a starting wage of $13.02 per hour, a semi-monthly pay schedule, flexible shifts, and health and wellness benefit options with advancement

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months direct caregiving experience.
• Self-directed and service-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and bedside manner.
• Patience and compassion for elderly or disabled.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's or willingness to training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Provide direct non-medical personal care per care plan.
• Perform safety and wellness observations each shift and report changes to the agency.
• Maintain a safe living area; follow safety standards and procedures.
• Educate family or primary caregivers on transfers, turning, and repositioning.
• Participate in required training and education opportunities.
• Support agency in adding value to services offered.

Job Purpose:

Caremate Wellness Solutions provides personal and living assistance services to individuals in the comfort of their own home or residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health or minimizing the effects of illness or disability.

• Supports clients by assisting with the Activities of Daily Living or ADLs(bathing/dressing/toileting/hygiene/meal prep/assistance with meals/mobilitymonitoring/medication reminders)
• Provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, following an approved plan of care
• Performs safety &wellness observations each shift. Communicates with the agency about any changes in condition or living environment
• Maintains a safe work and living environment, ensuring the area where care is provided is free from falls, fire, and trip hazards. Adheres to agency safety standards and procedures
• Helps family members or primary caregivers care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to transfer, turn, and reposition if necessary
• Updates job knowledge by participating in agency-required training and education opportunities
• Enhances agency & service reputation by accepting ownership of exploring opportunities to add value to services offered

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented
• Need good interpersonal skills, must be service-oriented, possess good bedside manner
• Must have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or be willing to participate in training to provide service
• Skilled in verbal and written communication

• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
• Must meet background eligibility requirements
• Must provide 2 Professional References
• Must complete all assigned training by agency deadlines
