Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant to provide non-medical in-home care in California. The role focuses on enhancing clients’ well-being and quality of life in their own homes.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, light meals, supervision, and companionship, while following care plans and reporting changes to supervisors. Paid orientation and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance including walking, transferring and positioning.
• Help with toileting and incontinence care.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report to supervisor.
• Follow care plans and communicate client needs.

As a personal care attendant with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:
