Position: Personal Care Attendant for Philip Soen
Location: Belvoir Place, Jackson, MS 39202
Hours: 25/week, flexible in 5-hour increments/day
Pay: $10.50/hour with full accessibility to coffee and snacks
Responsibilities: Philip is wheelchair bound with limited use of his hands and remotely finishing his PhD
from Dallas Theological Seminary. The range of tasks that Philip needs help with are personal-care, meal
preparation, transportation to appointments, and dissertation research assistance. This position should
allow 1 to 2 hours to study each “shift”; potentially more once you learn how to help Philip. The position
can be filled by more than one person if you are looking for fewer hours.

Position Qualifications:

This position is paid through the state of Mississippi. There is a background search and fingerprinting necessary as well as online training which is a series of modules and questions.
