Job summary

The Laurels of Sandy Creek in Michigan is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care to residents in an assisted living community.

The PCA assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promotes dignity and independence, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment while adhering to state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Competency testing.
• Successful completion of a state-approved personal care assistant, nursing assistant, or home health aide training program preferred.
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Promote dignity, independence, and safety in daily routines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment while complying with regulations.
