Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Raleigh, NC is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Raleigh, NC to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients' homes. The role offers shifts across days and evenings, plus PRN options, with pay ranging from $16 to $17 per hour.

The PCA helps with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe home environment. Requirements include being 18+, six months of relevant experience, and successful screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Six (6) months of accumulated experience in a similar job classification, similar life experience
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists, performs and trains client and family in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, eating and adequate nutritional intake, etc.
• Assists in medication reminding.
• Promotes and maintains a clean, safe, healthy, and therapeutic client environment.

Personal Care Assistant Schedules:

Weekdays & Weekends

• 1stshift (7a-3p)
• 2nd shift (3p-10p) or (3pm-11pm)
• 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
• PRN
• Shifts will vary for private duty cases

Personal Care Assistant Pay:

• $16 - $17 hourly

Personal Care Assistant Requirements:

• Must be 18 years ofage
