Newport Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA is seeking enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants to join our caring team.

PRN shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am for 1:1 resident interaction; we value dedication, compassion, and strong communication as you support residents' daily living.

Qualifications

• Have experience working in healthcare
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Possess a passion for working with and having impactful interaction with seniors
• Are compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mile

Responsibilities

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest
• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
• Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions
• Assures the safety of individual resident
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs
