Job Description for Personal Care Assistant at Eminence Home Care

Join our team as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a difference in the lives of our clients!

About the Role: Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our clients' safety, support, and ability to remain at home by assisting with daily activities. You will follow personalized care plans, report significant changes, and demonstrate compassion and care in every interaction. Experience in home care, healthcare, or customer service is preferred.

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with light housekeeping and run errands as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a physical and TB test.
• Verification of professional references.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 or older and able to communicate effectively in English.
