Job summary

Fairlawn Haven in Archbold, OH is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant for 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). The role involves compassionate daily living support for our residents and requires a caring, team-oriented attitude.

The ideal candidate will hold First aid and CPR certification (within 60 days of hire), be reliable with attendance, and able to assist residents with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Feeding Assistance Certificate, preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, family members, visitors and staff.
• Excellent attendance and work history.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support of daily living needs to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Follow care plans and document observations as required.

Part Time Opportunity

1st Shift (6AM - 2:30PM)

Includes holiday and weekend rotation

The PCA will provide compassionate support of daily living needs to our residents. Must have a loving need to help the elderly. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess a positive attitude, and be self-motivated with excellent attendance and work history.

Qualifications: Qualifications and/or Skills Required:

• First aid and CPR certification within 60 days of hire;
• Feeding Assistance Certificate, preferred;

• Must have excellent attendance and work history;
• Must be able to push, pull move and/or lift supplies and equipment Max. 50 lbs.
