Your Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) based in the North Adelaide area, including Elizabeth, Modbury, and Salisbury Heights, as well as in East Adelaide, including Norwood and Magill. Our PCAs provide personal, social, and emotional care to patients in their own homes. You will support activities such as home exercise programs, daily living tasks like mobility, showering, dressing, personal grooming, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, shopping, and domestic duties within the home.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility to work shifts between 7 am and 9 pm across a 7-day roster. You will be reimbursed for travel between patients and paid additional penalties for weekends worked.

What will set you apart from the rest?
With recent experience (2+ years) in a similar role, preferably within a community setting, you demonstrate compassion, integrity, and a patient-centred mindset. You exhibit strong cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills. You are comfortable working autonomously and can adhere to a schedule. Ideally, you are local to the suburbs listed above. Additionally, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • A current working with children or DCSI check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
  • Certificates in First Aid and CPR
  • COVID-19 vaccination and up-to-date Flu vaccination
