Job summary

Landis Homes Personal Care is seeking a Part-time Personal Care Assistant/Medication Technician in Lititz, PA. The role supports residents with daily living activities, prepares and updates service plans, and assists with treatments within the scope of practice.

You will respond to call bells, assist with dining, and help maintain neat resident rooms. Required: Medication Technician certification and strong communication, with CPR/First Aid training preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold current Medication Technician certification.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer-literate; proficient with related technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between families, nursing staff, Social Services and Life Enrichment.
• Assist with preparing and updating service plans.
• Provide hands-on resident care per the Service Plan and Support Plan.
• Respond to resident call bells and alarms; monitor residents' conditions.
• Assist with dining, tray delivery, and nourishments.
• Maintain neat and orderly resident rooms and common areas.
• Mentor new aides in areas of training.
• Observe and report vital signs and changes in condition.
