Job summary

K-12 Therapy is seeking an experienced in-home Personal Care Assistant to function as an Instructional Aide for an autistic student enrolled in a cyber school program. The student requires 25 hours of aide time per week during the school day.

This position offers starting pay of $27.00 per hour plus mileage at the federal rate and requires FBI/BCI and child abuse clearances, training, and at least 60 college credits or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Current FBI/BCI and child abuse clearances are required.
• Child abuse reporting training is required.
• At least 60 college credits or an associate degree.
• Experience as Personal Care Assistant and instructional aide with autistic students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home Personal Care Assistant services and serve as Instructional Aide for the student during cyber-school hours.
• Support the student for 25 hours per week during the school day.
• Position extends through the summer and into the next school year.

Student needs 25 hours of aide per week during his school day. We pay start at - $27.00 per hour plus mileage at the federal rate. All candidates must have current FBI/BCI and child abuse clearances as well as child abuse reporting training and have at least 60 college credits or an associates degree. Ideal for long term Substitute Teacher. This position will extend throughout the summer, as well as into next school year.
