Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and compassionate, timely care. You will work closely with the nursing team to uphold high standards of comfort and safety.

Key duties include assisting with personal care and nutrition per the care plan, monitoring residents, reporting changes to the charge nurse, and helping maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Read/write English language
• Pass a background check and drug test
• STNA not required, but preferred.
• Will state test if not certified.

The Job Responsibilities Of The PCA Include

Requirements Of PCA

• Move (sit, stand, bend and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.


• Lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds.


• Assist with the evacuation of residents.


• Read/write English language


• Pass a background check and drug test
