Personal Care Assistant for a lady 17 hr/wk@ £12.21/hr in Billingham - Billingham - TS23

A 61 year old lady is looking for a reliable, hard working and friendly Care Assistant to help support her to be independent in her own home and out in the community.

The lady has multiple sclerosis and uses a wheelchair. She is hoisted for transfers with the assistance of one.

Days and Hours:
The job is 17 hours a week. At least 3 days a week. Times can be flexible and will be discussed further at interview.

Tasks:
The successful candidate will be expected to support with the following:

• Transfers in/out of bed (Morning and evening)
• Domestic and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Access into the community

Experience:
Experience in care work is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided around hoisting to the successful candidate.
