A Newly Available Part Time Role working alongside experienced team members to help provide support and care to a 57-year-old man, who lives in his own home. He has mild learning difficulties, Cerebral Palsy (from birth) and Multiple Sclerosis since 2012. MS has accelerated the deterioration of the various symptoms he had with the CP so from being quite active he is now predominantly chair and bed bound, has had hoists fitted for transferring him to and from bed, chairs, shower and wheelchairs and his life has undergone significant change. He is still social, has a great sense of humour and can be a lot of fun, but is inevitably frustrated by his condition and keeping him cheerful is an extremely important part of the job. You will become part of a dedicated and professional family-oriented team who together provide 24/7 care. Personalised training will be given to the successful applicant.
