Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Personal Care Assistant to support clients with personal care, mobility, and therapeutic needs in California. The role offers day, evening, and overnight shifts, with part-time or full-time options. Wage ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, varying by shift type.

The position requires state licensure or certification as required, and a background in caregiving. The company provides benefits including health/dental/vision, Life Insurance, HSA, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Competenze

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients and care teams.
• Experience in personal care or home health settings is preferred.
• Basic computer and documentation skills are required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Mansioni

• Provides services to persons who need help with day-to-day activities.
• Performs health care tasks, personal hygiene services, and other related support as part of the client’s plan.
• Assists with transfers and ambulation.
• Completes incidental household tasks integral to the care plan.
• Provides companionship and engages client activities.
• Supports development of independent self-care skills.
• Reports changes in client status as directed by the care plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
