Job summary

Macklyn Home Care in Delaware seeks compassionate home care aides to support clients in New Castle, Wilmington, Newark and surrounding areas. You will provide one-on-one non-medical services, helping seniors and disabled adults age in place with dignity and respect.

Duties include companionship, light cooking, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, and transportation for appointments. Requirements include at least 1 year of personal care experience, TB test, and the ability to pass a background

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience.
• Proof of TB testing.
• Physically able to perform duties.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living assistance.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housework.
• Support bathing, grooming, toileting and ambulation.
• Remind medications and coordinate transportation for appointments.
• Maintain professionalism and build trusting relationships.
