Job summary

Macklyn Home Care in Dover, DE is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across Dover, Milford and Smyrna. You will provide non-medical assistance and build meaningful relationships as you help clients age in place.

Responsibilities include companionship, light cooking and cleaning, bathing, grooming, assisting with mobility, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience providing personal care.
• Proof of a current TB test.
• Physically able to perform duties.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.
• Able to pass a criminal background check & fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Assist with bathing and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
