Job summary

Home in the Heart Healthcare Agency is seeking compassionate home caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for clients in Tennessee. You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes according to individualized care plans.

Caregivers must follow agency policies, maintain privacy under HIPAA, use the approved EVV system, and report changes promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Caregiving or personal care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow care plans and agency policies.
• Must pass required background checks and meet employment requirements.
• Reliable transportation required; valid driver's license and insurance may be needed for transportation assignments.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required by agency policy.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and safely assist clients with mobility and transfers as required by the care plan.

Scope of Services

This is a non-medical position. Caregivers may not perform skilled nursing, wound care, injections, medication administration, or other clinical services unless properly licensed and specifically authorized.
