Job summary

Stand Out Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in Tempe, AZ to provide in-home care for individuals needing assistance due to age, illness, or disability.

You will assist with ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, companionship, and health monitoring, while following care plans and maintaining confidentiality.

Required: valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, background check, and flexible availability including evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

Stand Out Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care and support to individuals who need assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.

• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe living environment.

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.

• Provide transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other errands.

• Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, mood, or condition.

• Follow established care plans and maintain accurate communication with families and care team members.

• Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

• Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification.
