Job summary

SVNA Home Assistance in the Northwest Corner of CT is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support clients in their homes or facilities. You will provide non-medical care, assist with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, and social engagement to enrich clients’ day-to-day lives.

We offer flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum shift starting at 3 hours. Eligibility may qualify you for additional PTO and health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to clients in their homes or facilities
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals, manage medication, and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure seamless care

SVNA Home Assistance is a registered, non-medical home care company. We provide Personal Care Assistance to our clients' homes or within any facility in the Northwest Corner of CT, to make our clients' day-to-day lives easier. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and support in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team of Personal Care Assistants who pride themselves on matching personalities to meet the unique needs of our clients.
