Job summary

Mercy LIFE Norristown is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support participants in home and facility settings in Norristown, PA. This full-time role includes day shifts, Monday–Friday with every-other weekend, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment.

You will conduct participant assessments, assist with daily activities, maintain safety, transport support, and report changes to staff. A high school diploma and exposure to elder care are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of documented experience with frail or elderly population; if under 1 year, training from the PACE organization upon hiring.
• Preferred experience in long-term care or geriatric programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and use of personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
• Some travel within the region may be required.

Position Purpose

This role impacts participants lives by providing essential personal care services and health support.

Position Details

$2500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment paid in 3 installments. Role includes both home care and facility work.
