Are you a night owl who finds purpose in caring for others? Home Instead is looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Awake Overnight Care Professionals in Jackson, MI.

Position Details

• Location: Jackson, MI
• Shift: Awake Overnight, 10pm-8am
• Schedule: Part-time, a few nights per week
• Weekly Hours: 20 hours/week average

What You’ll Do

• Stay alert and responsive throughout the night
• Assist with overnight personal care needs
• Monitor for safety and provide reassurance
• Help with mobility and toileting as needed
• Support clients living with dementia using redirection and calm communication
• Light housekeeping and prep for the morning routine

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
• Comfortable staying awake and attentive through the night
• Experience with dementia care preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
