Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients in their homes throughout the New Haven and Shoreline communities. The role includes helping with daily living activities and providing companionship, with attention to promoting independence and well-being.

The PCA will assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and may accompany clients on community outings.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving or direct support experience is a plus but not required.

  We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide support and assistance to individuals in their homes and communities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, companionship, community outings, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and promoting independence and well-being.

  Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Must own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's license.

  • Must provide proof of a negative PPD/TB test completed within the past 24 months.
