Job summary

The Jewish Home is offering an employer-paid Personal Care Aide Training Program approved by the NYS Department of Health. Pay rate is $16.56 per hour, with training sessions from November 3 through November 12, 8:00am to 2:30pm.

Trainees are certified after classroom instruction, clinical skills demonstration, and knowledge testing, and may transition to a PCA position with Jewish Home Licensed Home Care. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and being at least 18 years old.

• Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred for training and PCA position.

Are you interested in becoming a Personal Care Aide?

We are pleased to announce that the Jewish Home has been approved by the NYS Department of Health to offer our own Personal Care Aide Training Program. This is an employer-paid training program that will prepare trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Trainees are certified upon successfully completing classroom instruction, clinical skills demonstration, and knowledge testing. You must be able to attend class training sessions November 3rd -November 12th 8:00am-2:30pm. Position requires a high school diploma or GED (High School Equivalency), and you must be at least 18 years of age. Driver's License and reliable means of transportation for both training class and future PCA position preferred

Upon completion, you will transition as a PCA with Jewish Home Licensed Home Care.
