Jewish Home is offering an employer-paid Personal Care Aide Training Program. Trainees will attend classes and complete clinical skills demonstrations and testing to qualify as a PCA with Jewish Home Licensed Home Care.

Pay rate for the training period is $16.56 per hour. Class sessions run from November 3 to November 12, 8:00am–2:30pm, and provide an opportunity to join our care team upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Age 18+ required
• Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Are you interested in becoming a Personal Care Aide?

We are pleased to announce that the Jewish Home has been approved by the NYS Department of Health to offer our own Personal Care Aide Training Program. This is an employer-paid training program that will prepare trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Trainees are certified upon successfully completing classroom instruction, clinical skills demonstration, and knowledge testing. You must be able to attend class training sessions November 3rd -November 12th 8:00am-2:30pm. Position requires a high school diploma or GED (High School Equivalency), and you must be at least 18 years of age. Driver's License and reliable means of transportation for both training class and future PCA position preferred

Upon completion, you will transition as a PCA with Jewish Home Licensed Home Care.
