Job summary

americareplus is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship in our Virginia service area. Work includes light housekeeping and reporting changes in health or behavior. Flexible FT/PT/PRN shifts offered across multiple local towns.

Weekly pay, health benefits with full-time, PPE provided, and PCA training opportunities are included to support your development in caregiving.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification required.
• Reliable transportation and a Virginia driver’s license.
• Social security card and two professional references.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair).
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.

Locations

We have cases available immediately in Farnham, Colonial Beach, Lancaster, Kilmarnock, Heathsville, Warsaw, Montross, St. Stephen's Church, King & Queen.

Shift Schedules

• Full‑time, part‑time, and PRN schedules.
• Weekends and evening shifts: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., 12 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Weekdays: 3:30 a.m. – 7 a.m.
