Brothers of Mercy Sacred Heart Home – Clarence, NY is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team. We offer meaningful caregiving with daily living assistance, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility support, in a supportive, non-profit environment.

Qualifikationen

• PCA certification preferred (will consider strong candidates without prior experience who are caring and dependable)
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a supportive care environment
• Compassionate and patient with strong communication skills

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and walking
• Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity while respecting Resident’s Rights and HIPAA policies
• Answer call lights promptly and make unit rounds as scheduled
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the staff member in charge
• Assist with resident meals, hydration, and weights, reporting significant changes as directed
• Help with laundry, bed making, and maintaining a clean, orderly living environment
• Promote independence, encouragement, and companionship for residents
