Job summary

Priority Cares Home Services in New York is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team. You will provide personal care and support with daily living activities in clients' homes under RN supervision to promote safety, comfort, and independence.

The successful candidate will hold a NYS PCA certification, have strong communication and time-management skills, and be reliable with transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State PCA Certification.
• Experience in home care or assisted living preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization.
• Remind clients to take medications (no administration).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to supervisors.

Role Overview:
