Job summary

Decena Home Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) for full-time, in-home support. You will provide compassionate daily living assistance and help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus and training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within the service area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow infection-control and safety protocols.
• Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity and confidentiality.
• Dependable and detail-oriented with noticing small changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and transfers.
• Support mobility with ambulation and use of walker/wheelchair; assist with range-of-motion routines.
• Plan and prepare simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks in clients’ homes.
• Give timely medication reminders and note changes for supervising nurse.
• Offer companionship, games, and escorted outings to keep clients engaged.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments, groceries, and activities.
