Job summary

Freedom Home Care LLC is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide hands-on daily living support in McLean, VA. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered care, with opportunities for skills labs and growth.

You will assist clients with daily activities, mobility, nutrition, and safe home management while upholding dignity and confidentiality. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred to support community outings.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow infection-control and safety protocols.
• Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Assist with mobility: ambulation, walker/wheelchair use, and ROM routines as directed by therapist.
• Plan and prepare simple, balanced meals and monitor hydration.
• Maintain a safe and tidy home with light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks.
• Provide timely medication reminders and note changes to supervising nurse.
• Offer meaningful companionship through conversation, games, and escorted outings.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments, groceries, and community activities.

What You’ll Do for Clients
